This is an original high quality Giclée art print of one of my watercolour bird paintings. Each painting I make is from observation of species in the area that I live, the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Red Capped Robins have become rare to see but the males love to display their brilliant plumage by using striking plants like this Banksia as their platform or stage. Every painting I make utilises the premium Daniel Smith Watercolour range and subsequently I take a lot of care with whom I get to make the prints for me. These Giclée prints are made using a high quality photo imaging and scanning process to ensure the colours are exactly copied. They are also printed on acid free archival papers. Since I have become a wildlife carer, rescuing possums in the Adelaide Hills, my interest and observation of our natural environment has increased.
