This is an original high quality Giclée fine art print of my watercolour Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo and Banksia painting. The original painting was called "If you plant it, they will come." The painting is a call to everyone to plant native local plants in their gardens in order to encourage the natural ecosystem to flourish and of course to benefit from the wonderful Avian visitors. Every painting I make utilises the premium Daniel Smith Watercolour range and subsequently I take a lot of care with whom I get to make the prints for me. These Giclée prints are made using a high quality scanning process to ensure the colours are exactly copied. They are also printed on acid free archival papers made from cotton by-products, so no trees were harmed in the making of your art print. Since I have become a wildlife carer, rescuing possums in the Adelaide Hills, my interest and observation of our natural environment has increased and is my constant source of inspiration.
